Scott Ferrell asked the question today...Can the Mustangs lure Jason Garrett away from the cowboys to coach the Mustangs? Thot it was interesting....Go Mustangs!!!

ludicrous. Garrett will be an NFL coach before long. he is probably already in line to take over for Wade in a few years.

HAHA -- that is the most farfetched hire idea i've seen on this board (including marty and lovie smith)

It isn't actually completely insane. The way I have always understood it, Mariucci was basically stashed at Cal by the 49ers waiting for the Seifert to retire. "Go there. Get some head coaching experience. You will be our next coach."
Notice I said, "It isn't actually completely insane."

Yeah, that so called "doofus" looked pretty good yesterday. Maybe you'd like to have Drew Bledsoe or Chad Hutchinson as your qb?

mr. p is just upset that Romo and the Cowboys are taking all the headlines in the DMN away from SMU football.

Sorry, guys, but those little flick passes off his back foot at the last possible second are going to cost Dallas one day. He thinks he's cool enough to get away with it for now.
Those five picks at Buffalo were no accident.

Won't happen this week. I hear Sean Taylor is out for the Redskins this week. No one else can hold on to a ham sandwich.

I've said the same about Brett Favre for years, yet the broadcasters already have his spot in the HoF reserved. It pains me. But I like Romo.

Farve and Romo are similiar in that "gunslinger" mentality, but I will take that any day over the QB's that have been in the Cowboys uniform for the last 10 years.
and yes eventually I am sure Romo will screw up and loose a game, but 8-1 is tough to argue with in the NFL...eventually Tom Brady will cost his team too, maybe 10 years down the road, but eventually!

Didn't Peyton throw 6 yesterday in San Diego? He's pretty good.
