No No No to Hal Mumme.
Rumors say that some SMU "deep pocket donors"
are pressuring Orsini on this dummy named Mummy!
This guy has an over-all head coach record of 32-49
and coached New Mexico State to a 4-8 record in 2006.
Thats not what we want!
NO2MUMMY!

Don't listen to Rumors. He never knows what he's talking about. Put your ear to bigduddy121212. He's got the goods.

I think the hire would be all about the Offense scheme and finding ways to put LOTS of points on the board.
NMSts QB Holbrook was tops in the nation for yards per game last year and top 10 in total yards and TDs...
Not saying this is a great hire but atleast people have the right mind sense of going for an offense mind

Whatever dude, like you do?
I am telling you SMU 2007 there are deep pocketed donors,
one in Amarillo, pushing this guy Hal Mumme.
I didn't say Orsini would hire the guy. I doubt Orsini
is going to put his own job/career at risk with a guy like
Hal Mumme.

He is the biggest cheater with the darkest past at Kentucky. Bad Bad Boy! The NCAA was all over him and he was in the thick of it. Was out of Coaching for several years with a scarlet letter. DISQUALIFIED with the rest of the former Coaches on our list. Surely you guys knew this.

I was told about this last week, from a good source at that. I don't doubt, that this certain SMU oilman booster is interested in Mumme, I just don't think the mob boss is.

The guy who REALLY took the fall in that scandal was the recruiting coordinator, Claude Bassett. I think he has been banned from the NCAA for life (or something similar)
Bassett went on to become head coach at Robstown (TX) High School, where he never once took that team to the playoffs. He was fired after the 2005 season. I think he is either an assistant at San Benito or a head coach somewhere down in the Rio Grande Valley now.
