Will SMU build CUSA?

I was just thinking that if SMU is going to pay $1.5+ million for a head coach, will that coach be the highest paid coach in CUSA? And for that kind of money we should have a quality coach. I always hear that recruits want to play for a quality coach. So if we pay 1.5+ million and recruits start to come to SMU, then other schools in CUSA will be forced to pay higher salaries to draw players to their programs.
Now if you have better players at CUSA schools and better coaches at CUSA schools, shouldn't that make for better football at CUSA schools?
This coaching decision is not only good for SMU, but in the long run, could be good for CUSA.
