It amazes me that we continue to get these make-believe conference suggestions. In order for a conference to be formed, ALL of the schools must have a reason (see-money)to join. TCU will not join a new conference unless forced to. Tulane won't either. Neither will Houston. If you are going to suggest new conferences, please say why the each school will benefit. Otherwise, lets join the Big 12. It would be good for us. That seems to be the only criteria used for some of these idiotic posts.

EXACTLY-the ONLY scenario where we might join in forming a new conference is if we get left behind by all the others. SMU is not in a position to be calling ANY shots. The ONLY way we better our situation is to make our program attractive enough for consideration.
