Not buying rumor mill

I'm calling b.s. on the rumor mill. I don't know what the motivations are but why list specific information about a coaching candidate that any dummy can figure out and then say that it cant get out or all bets are off? Sounds like a way of promoting his website while leaving himself a way out when the info is inevitably leaked.

Although a Kragthorpe kind of hire is what I would expect at this point and would explain why I have not heard anything "on the street."

Because you're posting on a message board, and if you ACTUALLY had anything of any value, you probably wouldn't be in a position to want to post on a fan board. Lamar Hunt, Craig James, Orsini, Mike Vought, hmmm don't see many of their kind running to the message board to proclaim LOOK WHAT I FOUND.

Face it, at this point you have:

1.) A lot of funds raised
2.) A track record with the AD
3.) Publicly expressed interest in the job
4.) The rumor mills are cranking out things not of a lineup of Phil Bennett's.

Now I'm willing to buy into this particular rumor mill being off or misguided or whatever, but the premise of it seems to be reasonably well grounded.

Pretty funny you call b.s. after someone else all called it first. I'm calling your b.s. and raising you another b.s.

My goldfish has not heard anything on the street either - and he is about as plugged in as you - biggin. Maybe more so.

I would be glad to give you a place to stay and a warm meal, but I gave up duck hunting about 40 years ago when I broke through the ice and my wadders filled up with very very cold water about a half a mile from the levee. I decided cow was better than duck.
