Qualifications for a New Coach

1. Someone who can recruit Texas
2. Someone with solid leadership skills
3. Someone with thick enough skin to weather the inevitable [deleted] and moaning that will come when he doesn't win his first umpteen games out of the chute
What We Don't Care About
1. Someone that ESPN would consider a "splash"
I think we've gotten so hungry for wins that we've lost our sense of what it's going to take to get this team on track. Yes, a splash hire would feel good. If we can get on the front page of ESPN magazine with our hire, well great. But items 1-3 on the need list above are what really matter.
