I know I probably should not be throwing out this hypothetical situation...but I was talking about it with a few friends...
What would the score be if this years SMU football team were to play this years SouthLake Carol on a neutral field????
Your honest thoughts...

We already did, it was our only win of the season.

Southlake wouldn't even sniff the end zone. It'd be ugly. Big, big difference between high school and college athletes.
A more interesting game would be Southlake vs. HP.

South Lake has many guys going to BCS schools...you dont think they would sniff the end zone against our stout D?

Nope. They'd get killed. Even if the entire Southlake team were going Division I next year, SMU would win.

I agree with whatever new coaching staff we hire, smu would win handily. But with Crusty Burns calling plays?? And PB making desicions? Thats like 3 automatic turnover on downs on 4th and short situations...im sure SLC watches film and knows that on 4th we either run our beast of a running back off tackle with no head of steam or run our shifty little back up the gut.

You obviously don't know sports very well. It's ridiculous to think that SLC could compete with us, even with PB & co.

There would be no score - SLC would have so many players injured they wouldn't be able to complete the game. They wouldn't have a single quarterback survive a possession.

SMU 78

And I'm the crazy fan. Keep talking about SMU playing high school teams. You all are all a bunch of losers.
