A person VERY close to the situation told me that Bowden was really lobbying for the job, but Orsini told him that he had been out of coaching for too long. I know that it is hard to believe, but I give my word that my source is reliable.

I think I'm going to be drinking heavily in the coming weeks. Who could be better than Bowden?

then that would mean, Steve Orsini, the man who hired O"Leary at CFU and Doherty at SMU would have a coach at SMU that is better than Bowden.....put that in your trapper keeper and think about it.....

Whether true or not...
Bowden has been out of coaching too long...I have no interest in him and I bet Orsini sees it the same way.
