Why not Nutt or Bowden?

So let me get this straight: we are hiring a coach, who couldn't even cut it at the BCS Level, and everyone is cool with that? Ok, that makes sense. Can't wait till Louisville sends us their trash and then hires Nutt or Bowden. Why can't SMU for once hire a top level coach. I don't get it????????? Can someone help me. If you need me, I'll be outside throwing myself on to on coming traffic.

Why not Bowden? He hasn't coached a down of football in 9 years. With "his" players at Auburn, he lost. He left Auburn when he was found to be having inappropriate conduct with an employee of the athletic department. All he has going for him is his last name.
Nutt? Well, at least he has been a coach the last 9 years.

Fine, Nutt then, but let's at least get someone that we have all heard of. I mean, what is SMU's deal with hiring these no name guys.
