Since I bumped into Houston Nutt Tuesday night at the women's game in Fayetteville and wished his team luck, there you have it.

All kidding aside, an absolutely wonderful game. Say what you want about Nutt, his teams are the kings of the college football overtime. They had those epic 6 and 7 OT games against Ole Miss and Kentucky.

If it worked out that he came here, it would be a pretty interesting ride.

However, if he did come here, I wonder if he could recruit with our academics standards like he could with Arkansas. His program had its fair share of shaky NCAA minimum standard kids.

That's an understatement. They hide up in the Hills but they sign more borderline kids as any one in Texas. Then they sit back and see which recruits are eligible

if i was Les Miles, i'd leave LSU in a heartbeat. it would be much easier to win the Big 10 and go to the national championship than in that conference

nah, you dont get that close to a national championship and throw it away like that. HOWEVER, he may have been distracted this week...
