I bet this writer is an alum of one of the schools that didnt get its way. I doubt he was lamenting the process or integrity of college athletics when the SWC broke up, the WAC-16 or the creation of the BCS. Theres a saying that when your neighbor is unemployed its a recession, when you are unemployed its a depression. Hypocrisy and self interest rules the day and chances are good that this writer suffers from it too. We all do to some extent.

The biggest surprise is seeing something in the Austin paper that I somewhat agree with. You are right. I didn't hear any national outcry when the Big 8 stole 3 of our best teams and Baylor.
