SMU is going to take their time to identify the next coach to make sure that they get it right. In other words, he is optimistic about finding a candidate, but don't expect an announcement soon just like Scoops prognosticated earlier.

we'd better hope so. If this deal isn't done, we can probably kiss another recruiting year goodbye. We can't afford to miss out on at least a shot at the few guys that might be left out there who can help improve this team

Remember Myrdel, this is the same lousy referee crew that failed to call that receiver for a personal foul on McCann. You are WAY to trusting that the correct call would be made by this crew!
Wrong thread but I say again, he would have spiked it and kicked a field goal, regardless of what Swann said.
