Bogus I tell you. I predicted Georgia Tech!!
I really did not think he would stay and compete in the SEC. Shows some guts.

Orsini had an Ole swing and a Miss on Nutt. Actually, we had no chance at him.

Word is in the range of $1.9 million. Do not think we could have gone there even if he had been interested.

Ole Miss plays in Fayetteville next season. Who knows the talent and environment better than Nutt? It could prove to be a very intense rivalry for the next few seasons. And Nutt can claim he knows how to beat LSU in Baton Rouge. This could turn out to be a super hire for Ole Miss. Besides, at Nutt's age he would look better in a Colonel Reb outfit over a Hog suit.

$1.5M in 2008 = $600K in 2002.

Why would anyone want to Coach Georgia Tech after they fired a Head Coach at a school that has gone to 5-6 straight bowls and you have to put up with academic headaches at a place like Georgia Tech. I'd take the Ole Miss job any day over Georgia Tech.

because the ACC isn't as strong as the SEC.

That's part of the problem. The ACC isn't as strong, but in order to stay at Georgia Tech, you have to beat Georgia.

Coaches want to go where the best football is played-because it is the highest profile-as long as they are not hancuffed by the administration. Seriously, lack of administrative support is THE Deal Killer
