i suppose we'll never know what really happened
even once our new coach is named
if we get say Bowden or Chan Gailey
whose to say it wasn't offered to Nutt or Fran first?
they wouldn't want the guy we get to be thought of as a 3rd choice.
so the guy we get could be the 1st choice or the 3rd choice....
we'll never know.

you're right. after three weeks to find the right guy, no name sticks out from the rest. it took A&M two days to find their guy, obviously their first choice. at this point, we'll probably never know who Orsini's top 3 or so

QuikSStang.....I wonder if we'll ever even find out who had formal interviews or if formal interviews were even given to a select few?

I would think we would find out because of the diversity issue. They may want to let it be known they interviewed a person of color if it ends up not being Turner Gill.

It's too bad it can't all come out, it would be interesting to look back at Orsini's entire process, who he was really thinking about, who said yes, who said no, who said maybe, who said yes but it has to be this much $$$$$$$, but I understand why we can't ever be privy to that information.
