Do I understand correctly that there is a team meeting going on as I type this? Does anybody out there know anything on this?

I'm guessing the meeting is going to go something like this: "i know this coach search has gone on a long time but trust that we're going to hire a wow coach, work out really hard with Vic, kick butt on finals and have a good time over Christmas!"

Usually there was always a team meeting after class. Most often at Jenny Bear's but since that burned down, I am sure they meet elsewhere. Don't expect any insight to be forth coming from these meetings.

But not too much of a good time.

No set up in the press room = no press conference = no coach = no announcement

assuming they are going to do the announcement on campus..?

Maybe the priest, preacher, druid, witch doctor, wiccan priestess meating was held to have the exorcism, invocation, incantation, and spells to overcome the evil spirits that surround our football program.
