-The Ole Miss job is filled
-Tommy West isn't going to be asked to leave this year
-Was mentioned from the Boulevard? that Bowden was a backup candidate for the job here because he had been out of coaching so long.
-No official mention of him running around to SMU, Baylor, Arkansas, etc.

Where does he end up?

Talk of Bowden going to Duke now though I dought it..... I still can't believe SMU won't offer Terry Bowden. He would not only be a great coach but could really sell the program to the media and Dallas.

why not? They probably have more money to offer him, and if the administration commits to having a winning football program they have a lot more incentives that they can offer, one of which would be the opportunity to compete for something meaningful.
Ha! Bowden to Duke, that's the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life.
.................Hey, Spurrier started his Div.1 head coaching career at Duke. Duke went 8-3 one year and to a bowl game and Spurrier moved on to Florida...
