All the rumor and speculation you keep hearing about George O'Leary leaving UCF for one of the 4,378 college football coaching jobs that have opened up in the last week is based on absolutely nothing. O'Leary isn't going anywhere. He is adamant that he will finish off his coaching career at UCF. "My next job is going to be on the first tee box somewhere," O'Leary said Tuesday as his team prepared to host Tulsa in Saturday's Conference USA Championship Game. "I'm very happy here. I'm 61 years old and this is where I want to be." But, Coach, your old job is open at Georgia Tech. "Been there, done that," O'Leary said, squashing the Internet innuendo that he might return to Atlanta, the place where he made his coaching name. "I'm happy here. I love the state of Florida." --

They just built a new stadium and things are looking up down there. No reason for him to leave and go somewhere intra-conference.

But we all know that when coaches publicly say they are happy where they are, the next thing you know is they are in another location.

See Nick Saban and how handled the Alabama thing last year.

Who knows if he'll leave or stay. But if he comes here, can he bring Kevin Smith with him?
