Word I got was that the committee would not meet again until they were called in to put the ok stamp on the new coach.

Are you thinking about the search firm rather than the committee?

No. The basketball search committee met only twice. Once at the beginning and once at the end right before Doherty was announced. The search committee was given less than three hours notice of the meeting and I don't think everyone even made it.

Again, I think you are thinking firm which is working daily. The committee is a diverse group of alums, profs, player or two, etc. that gives the final ok. The search firm is the contracted company that is making contacts and recommendations to Orsini.
