"A look at the career of Naval Academy head football coach Paul Johnson in honor of his 100th career head coaching victory. Highlights include footage of his time as Georgia Southern offensive coordinator, Hawaii offensive coordinator, Navy offensive coordinator, Georgia Southern head coach, and Navy head coach. In his short career, Johnson's teams have won six conference titles, four I-AA national championships, four bowl games, and four straight Commander-in-Chief's trophies. Johnson was named I-AA Coach of the Year four times and was the 2004 Bobby Dodd National Coach of the Year after leading Navy to a 10-2 record. Coaching at a service academy is the hardest job in college football, and nobody does it better than Paul Johnson. He is, in my opinion, the best coach in college football"

But this time when the phone rang in Statesboro, Georgia, Paul Johnson wasn’t keen on moving anywhere.

“He was real comfortable at Georgia Southern. He was winning and we were all enjoying life. So why leave?â€

Who says the option isn't exciting? WoW, I'll take a TD in the air or on the ground, a TD is a TD. All this guy does is win. I'm getting pumped up now.

Hey Insane, nice find about the family too. Good reading! Seems like he really likes a challenge. I think I'll email him and tell he can't turn SMU around. Think that will help?

Go Ponies!!
