I know we've all seen the speculated rumors and whatnots about there being an announcement, but I just spoke with an attorney friend who represents a particular coaching search firm located in plano that rhymes with Beastman Modine. they told him that Monday is the day.

didn't say a name though, so we'll continue down the Paul Johnson line until we hear otherwise.

You might have just bought your attorney friend a malpractice lawsuit. Here's a tip from an attorney, if you have a friend who is an attorney who is willing to tell you something like this - don't say, "I heard from my attorney friend." He shouldn't be telling you this and with the very small universe of potential attorneys that could have known this you are putting him at risk.

I am sure he meant "attorney's friend".

I do not know anybody but have been telling you 12/3 since the job opened. Sometimes you just have to have faith.

Actually I do know somebody, but it is one of those "if I told you I would have to kill you" type deals, and you seem like a nice guy.

I had an insider tell me 12/3 was the announcement date sometime back. And yes, I know the coach that will be named. I did promise not to tell a soul so I certainly can't tell anyone any names. All I can say is that the fellow that told me name's rhymes with "Emrheidell"

Also, the Daily Campus just had a front page article today that said President Turner announced the new coach will be announced within a week.

I had an insider tell me that 12/3 was indeed a Monday................
