Posted: Sat Dec 01, 2007 4:49 pmJust as we feared (those of us who want Paul Johnson, that is), we're hearing that he is headed to Georgia Tech as early as Tuesday. No details on the contract, but it is a pretty easy decision, unfortunately.
Johnson goes to Atlanta, where he is known from his dominant Georgia Southern days, inherits a 7-5 team with Tashard Choice coming back, and will be coaching in the ACC.
Let's hope perhaps UConn's Randy Edsall blew them away in his interview Friday and there is a different decision at Ga. Tech.
So, if this is the case -- and we believe it is -- who does the Mustang brass turn to? Bowden, Barnett, Coker, Mason, Neuheisel? Who knows. But, aside from those mentioned, there are good coaches out there and you'd think Steve Orsini knows how to get one to The Hilltop.

I'm one of the few to give the reasons I don't want him instead of shouting BOWDEN BOWDEN BOWDEN or some other stupid casual reason.
