Yes. His teams have been very inconsistent. Brad Smith was supposed to lead them to the promised land, but he only took them to the bowl games in Shreveport. Chase is finally getting it done, for the most part. However, OU is still the best team from the old Big 8 conference and still has MU by the throat psychologically and talent wise. It will still be a while before MU can match up with them, but better talent might be on the horizon thanks to this breakout year. It will probably take an OU coaching change before MU can finally get over the psychological hump with OU, however.
