the video reminds me of the pre-flight videos Continental shows you, eliminating the need for the talk by the flight attendants. Orsini even reminds me of Larry Kellner with his spot at the end.

My favorite quote.

"SMU offers the ideal combination of academic and athletic excellence."

"SMU stampeding to the top."

Why footage from the UCF game with empty seats? Possible negotiation point - fill the seats and your $$ increases?

Unlike the Pye motto, "Grazing at the bottom."

I thought the same thing, plus some of the plays were not flattering to SMU.

Seriously.... I mean could we at least have gotten a locked down shot in there? How the heck does that happen. Really put the camera on a dolly or a jib arm or something. Jeez.

Maybe do some nice time lapse.

Did we pay money for that? Good idea, but mediocre execution.

No way this is to shown to coaching candidates. No grown man negotiating a million dollar package would sit through this. It has to be for recruits.

What an embarrassing, low-rent, slapped-together piece of garbage. Typical of the forethought and attention to detail shown by SMU athletics.

With just a little, and I mean very little, extra effort, they could have pulled off a much more professional-looking piece in the same amount of time. And probably the same cost.

How hard is it to find video of SMU playing Tech in front of a full house? How hard is it to find someone to shoot some quick video of the facilities that isn't hand-held and shaky? All it takes is a couple of phone calls.

And was there a second take on Orsini's little speech at the end? He was terrible. Came off about as warm as an iceberg. Leaning back in a chair? At least have him stand up, or lean forward. Or better yet, have someone with some on-air charisma do it. It doesn't have to be Orsini, just someone representing SMU.

Just terrible. And so typical.

That video's an embarassment. SMU's got a decent film program that sends graduates to Hollywood and we can't even get one of them to do the video???

Not to mention, that SMU also has three alums working as producers for ABC sports and we can't at the very least consult with them before puting this video together.

SMU=bush league.

Orsini needs to tell the person who posted that garbage on youtube to take it down.
