I'm not one to call names, so I won't. But rhymes with itch. Man, talk about a sore loser. Of course he was shell-shocked, but he rambled on and on for 15 minutes solid talking about how his team didn't do this and didn't do that and it was a nightmare, and no way could he believe this or that.

Not a word as to whether he thought Pittsburgh might've had something to do with his team's play.

This despite the very best efforts of those in black and white stripes who at various junctures did all they could to will the Mountaineers to the BCS title game.

Those officials did everything in their power to give WV thw win, glad to see Pitt pull it out despite that though. I guess that extension he was offered does't look quite as dumb as I first thought.

the reason pitt had such a bad year was the fact that they lost their first two QBs at the start of the season. then they had to deal with a very young team

true, but not many coaches are offered extensions with that kind of record....unless you are at SMU I guess.

they interview these guys immediately after they get upset by another team and they are supposed to give a good interview?

Yes. Doesn't have to be positive, or cheerleader-ish, but a gratuitious comment about how Dave Wannstedt runs a good program or something wouldn't hurt. I thought he was going to cry. He also sounded like he was lying through his teeth when he said something about "oh, yeah, I'm proud of my kids" - like it's shameful to get to a BCS bid. Learned his class from Todd Graham, I'm sure.

their freshman RB who ran for about 1300 yards made defenders look silly at times. I'm sure he's going to be among the Top RBs in the country
