Chris Landry is a New Orleans-basedFox National Sports Reporter and a owner of a consulting/search firm.

Listen to what Chris Landry says about the search process and Paul Johnson.

This does have a Nebraska focus as the interview was done via one of their radio stations.

You should listen. Pretty insightful about the hiring process.
He talks about Turner Gill too.

As far as Paul he says something like:
"Oustanding choice"
"I got news for you, paul johnson runs several different types of offenses. he runs the option at nave because he has to....he'll run the spread option or whatever he has to."
"Oustanding football coach, very proven...."

I liked it when they asked him how much of the process was a smoke screen and he laughed loudly and said very much. He wanted to add more but they went onto another topic.

Agree. Would of liked to of heard some "smoke screen" stories.

Not too sure that Pellini / Nebraska is a smoke screen.
