Maybe Paul Johnson isn't our man afterall...

This is from the Baltimore Sun:

"That's about all he was willing to say about the subject, except to assure everyone that any report that he has accepted another job is totally false.
"
I guess all those rumors about him coming here were BS...
Obviously, he's pretty happy and satisfied coaching at Navy (what kinda person wants to coach at a service academy! Idiot!)
"It's humbling to be out there in a game of this magnitude [Army-Navy] that means so much to so many people,"
"I've got a great job," he said. "I get to deal with some great kids. You never say never, but it would take a pretty special situation."
As for a "burning desire to win a national championship":
"Again, you never say never," Johnson said, "but that's not something I spend a lot of time thinking about."
I say let the loser stay at Navy and have fun coaching those meager service academy kids. If he doesn't "spend a lot of time thinking about" winning a national championship then he's not the guy we want around here.
