Here is a link to a new article from ESPN.

Not a lot of new info, except for Duke and, perhaps, GT, both presumed pursuers of Johnson.

Somehow I've never thought Johnson was the guy. Maybe he will be, in which case I'll have a heaping helping of crow.

Fearless prediction: Dennis Franchione

ESPN must not have had the flight tracking link we were glued to today

There is no way in he!! that Davie is coming here. Even with connections to Orsini, he's about #100 on the list of "best available coaches."

I forwarded it to FootballRumorMill.com and they wrote back and said they would look into it, but then posted the Dennis Dodd story about GT later. If nothing happens tomorrow, maybe I'll see if my family can get any info out of Liz Merrill at ESPN, but my guess is she is working on a Bo Pelini story this week. (And just FYI, ESPN hasn't updated the SMU section on that page for weeks.)

I think Ford decided to take his plane to BMore just to play with us. Did anyone disembark with a bushel of crabs?

Nobody, even Ford, spends $5000 per hour to put on a wild goose chase.

Then again, its Oyster Season on the Chesapeake Bay. Despite a small crop this year, they're considered quite good. But then again, you don't want to be known for needing to eat Oysters, that's worse than having crabs.
