Can anyone confirm whether Steve was at the women's basketball game last night?...he made a comment on his blog about the wonderful bench play during the game...if so, not the best way to welcome a new coach (Balt. arrival)

I actually just now noticed that Rhonda has been writing on his blog on a fairly regular basis...I had previously read them as Steve's...the last few posts were really lovey dovey on women's basketball and I thought it was strange that Steve was really laying the lady love on thick...again, thanks. I was getting worried about his priorities. *phew*

Don't dismiss that idea: Steve-O knows damn well how good the women's basketball team is, and he has come to games. He is a visible supporter of the women's basketball team, as he should be - they're damn good!

The game was actually Saturday afternoon, in Denton. And no, he wasnt there. Might have gone down to San Antonio for the guys game, but hopefully he was out finding a new football coach, there will be plenty of games to watch the rest of the year.

Oh, I agree. But the middle of a coaching search/in the waning of an important recruiting period for men's football? That would be crazy. The women's basketball team may be great but ultimately their record (just or unjust) will have no bearing on how Orsini is remembered or whether his stay at SMU will be lengthy. Thankfully, I was reading those comments assuming the wrong author.

Egads! It did say Saturday. I'm sorry all for dragging you down this tangent. It's late and I was expecting a report by Orsini about a wild airplane ride. This thread is officially worthless.
