Think this Mustang fan is getting a little carried away?

SMU is No. 1!
Yes, the glory days are back for a nearby Texas football team, the Southern Methodist University Mustangs. The beleaguered BCS probably won't officially recognize this, but SMU has a valid claim to being the NCAA National Champion, despite their record of 1-11 this season.
You see, their only win was against North Texas (45-31). North Texas beat Louisiana-Monroe (31-21), Louisiana-Monroe beat Alabama (21-14), Alabama beat Arkansas (41-38), and Arkansas beat the #1 team in the nation, Louisiana State University (50-48).
Those combined point differentials would make the (1-11) SMU Mustangs a 36 point favorite over the (10-2) LSU Tigers! Go SMU! Go BCS!
