OMG!!! Have you seen the endzones? We are back to that "electric" blue color again. Did someone not notice that everything we have now is NAVY BLUE!?!?! Take a look at the seats in the stadium, and the new unis.

Can someone please tell us that these are just temporary place-holders? Please I'm begging you! I thought we had finally managed to get the WHOLE school on the same page, and then this.

gooood point! the navy is such a 'strong' color! a nice 'crimson' endzone would be nice for one of the endzones, too with the other being navy.

on another note - somebody must have dropped the ball on this one - its just too obvious a mistake when the whole %^&$ univesity is going back to the traditional & formal colors of navy & crimson.

It's about that same blue color in the endzones.

it is terrible. I was anticipating that the old NAVY BLUE end zones with S M U and M U S T A N G S would be there, like 2 years ago...

that blue is baby/sky blue

Looks kind of like royal blue to me. And while it's not our official color (Navy), I did like the royal blue unis we had a few years ago.

Holy crap. Thats all I can say. That picture is laughable. Navy blue unis with royal blue endzones? I'll sneak into Ford myself the night before games and spray paint those endzones black if I have to. Arggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh.

I'm not thrilled about the color either, but perhaps they did that so that our players won't disappear when they run into the endzone.

If we make it into the endzone at all this year Ok ok, just playing.

I'm not sure this blue will last. I'm going to ask around about it. It's hideous and doesn't match AT ALL. OBVIOUSLY. Hmm.. whew what an eyesore !

good point pk - but why didn't they just go with a dark crimson color, or a green for grass like notre dame or even a checkered design or any other 'original' designs?

pk - this blue just isn't even the school color.

Amateur Hour again. How hard is it to get a common color scheme? You don't see A&M with purple endzones, or UT will bright orange endzones. This will look especially bad on TV (the few occasions we are on tv). It will look like we are playing in someone else's stadium on television. They need to fix this asap.

I don't know it doesn't look bad and it will contrast with our jerseys to some degree. You don't want your quarterback to lose his wideouts in the endzone because they blend in. We have used that color in the past. We just need some khaki line markers and it will look very corporate.

This actually may work. It could be more distinctive and impressive in person.

Obviously this was intentional; so the rational may not yet be apparent. Can someone in authority comment on this choice?
