"The biggest difference at Navy is that you have a much smaller pool to choose from. At other schools you just need to find guys who meet the entrance requirements. But here, you have tougher standards and of course there is that five-year military commitment after graduation. Once in a while we’ll get a player wanted by a number of Division I schools, but that’s only because they want to be a pilot, a sailor or an officer. That doesn’t happen too often though."
