let's see how he does by year 5. I still say you have to give any coach at least that long before you see anything resembling "his" team on the field

Five years. As much money these guys make. Five years is two years too long. Programs want results now.

This statement would mean that SMU will suck for 25 years before PJ works his majic. Can we wait that long, or will we be DII by that time?
