No one is for the schools down here. Had lunch yesterday with Smithson Valley people and no SMU contacts on their kids, but had contacts from Tulsa, Houston, Okla. State, etc. about kids and their upcoming playoff game with Madison.
As far as Madison, 2 Arkansas kids may be re-thinking now that Nutt is gone. Tulsa is talking to them, but doubt we are.

Look for Tulsa and TCU to have big years in recruiting with the Coaching turmoil. Remembr Phil Bennett had his best class in a similar year with a lot of Texas turnover in Coaching.

Words of wisdom as you are correct. Tulsa has a big presence down here already.
This is why I posted after they fired Bennett that if we were going that route we better name a coach soon to save some recruiting, especially JUCO recruiting. I don't know if this situation could get much worse for us right now.

Thanks for your optimism and encouragement. Better finish that half empty glass of kool aid.

Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.

If we hire Bowden or Barnett. We could actually pull in a decent recruiting class in my opinion. Have to sign those guys today though.

May depend on who we end of hiring.
