Not happy with the way this whole thing played out, but he has to do what he thinks is right for his familiy, career and staff. All I would add is 4 years of 8-4 (if one of the 4 is Georgia) gets him fired. 4 years of 8-4 at SMU makes him a GOD.

Yeah. He must think he already is a god because he ordered himself a really tall order.

I respect his right to select the school of his choice, but I think PJ is setting himself up for failure at GT. Taking over a 7-5 program is a lot different than taking over 1-11. The expectations are SO MUCH HIGHER from the outset. Anything less than a conference title and BCS bowl would almost necessarily be considered a failure.

If he chose SMU, he would have had free state income tax....I hope Georgia sucks it out of him!
