This is not a joke.
1. Texas Ties (Dallas Cowboys)
2. WOW Hire without doubt
3. Coaching record speaks for itself- good news, no super bowls in college
4. Would bring us national exposure
5. You won't find a classier guy anywhere
6. Great Face for a program and University
7. Has never cheated or been involved in a scandel
8. Most important - Would over shadow a Paul Johnson Snubb. Johnson is a joke compared to Reeves.
----------------------
Only drawback is age (63), and I don't have a problem with that. 63 isn't bad at all. Isn't Fran like almost 60. He will always be a rockstar!
I am now pulling for Dan Reeves. I really think he would come. Hope you guys support this idea!

And it wouldn't hurt that two of his kids went to SMU

From unreliable sources (Wikipedia), Reeves is rumored to be a front-runner for the Michigan job.

So let's beat them to the punch. I can't believe we have had all this time to hire a coach and never thought about him.

Does this mean that we bring on Chan as his Offensive Coordinator? After all, they're both from Americus, Georgia and Dan was his pee wee league football coach as a kid.

This would be amazing. I always knew there was an NFL guy that we were overlooking.

Did Rossley coach under Reeves at Atlanta?
I still like the idea of Schottenheimer. He would more or less be a transitional coach for 4-5 years to return the program to respectability and then hand off to someone else with proven credentials who would commit for the long-haul.

A lifetime supply of Zocor should be guaranteed in Reeves' contract

Is there a way to email Orsini, to bring attention to a coach he may be overlooking. Dan Reeves would save SMU

He would complete the circle in his career…..started in Dallas, ended in Dallas….very storybook. Brings SMU back from the ash heap.
