We could say.....go after Mike Singletary! (I know he is staying in the NFL. Just like the idea of sticking it to Baylor if we could get him and they couldn't!)

Kenneth Gant and Ike Holt are from what I am hearing from my sources.

And while we are at it maybe we can also bring back Crazy Ray from the dead too....

I know. He really just wants to stay in the NFL. However, they were only offering $1.2 mil, and it would be easier (conference-wise) to turn SMU around than Baylor.

He doesn't want to turn around a program, he wants to win a national championship.

My point wasn't really Mike Singletary. The point was, are there any other former players out there that fit the bill of a Singletary/Harbaugh/etc. that could be possibilities?

What was interesting about Singletary's response to Baylor was that he figured out that they "really" were not interested in winning a national championship & that is why he didn't take the job. And he was right.

There is no doubt that if they (Baylor) was serious, he would have taken the job.
