Would Bill Belichick's past history of cheating disqualify him under the Turner test?

No need to do a background check on a coach that would never give SMU the time of day. To answer your question though, I think he would not be considered.

He too also had an adulterous past, much like Bowden, so no.

Belichick doesn't fit into the university's Commitment to Failure system. He would never be a consideration regardless of his cheating because the most important part of his record, winning, is intolerable to SMU.
