Nary a whisper

A cold, dreary Monday has pretty much come and gone, and nothing from the Hilltop on the wire. If the suspense built up equaled the level of coach, then we deserve a good one.

Mr. Orsini, if you are reading this, please give us a timeline as to when we can expect something of relevance. Our hair is getting pretty thin and our job performance really blows.

<...sigh...>

Has anyone even seen Orsini? What evidence do we have that he is still here?

I have tried to express the growing frustration to some poeple at the athletic department. The past couple of times, it elicited a response. First, the blog entry and then the one Kate article that quoted Orsini. I hoped my recent blog entry would elicit some kind of response, but alas, the appear to be oblivious to our concerns.

He might be spending those 18 hours a day fixing up his resume. I look back on that episode of Seinfeld where George pushes the old lady down to escape the apartment fire.

I believe he was photographed at the Oprah-Obama rally. Anybody got that shot?

I haven't posted much in a while. It's because there's just not much that interests me on here other than funniness and tomfoolery... and I'm just not in the mood for tomfoolery right now. Or funniness. It's my subconscious way of protesting the lack of quality information where we live today -- sports.

It wouldn't be SMU otherwise. Oblivious is a good description of a lot that has gone in SMU athletics over the years.
