Petrino says its "Recruiting"
Posted: Tue Dec 11, 2007 11:57 pmJust watched parts of the Bobby Petrino press conference. He was asked why make the move now and so quickly after last nights NFL game and he said "it is all about recruiting."
He then said "we will get cleared with the NCAA how to transition the staffs and coaches, but right now I am going to focus on recruiting."
Why is it everyone else gets the importance of timing and recruiting but we seem to think it is okay to wait so long? I am all for taking time to get the right person, but we fired PB so early it should have helped us have someone by now to at least salvage some recruiting. We are harming not just this years class, but next years as well if we don't name quality person soon.
