I just saw a commercial that says representatives from SMU and Texas A&M will be speaking on the NFL Network Friday at 5PM. Does anyone know what that is?

Perhaps they are discussing the two extremes in head coaching searches - 60 seconds with ATM or 60 months with SMU.

Would the NFL network be a good place to announce a coach?

Didn't NFL Network have a show about the Death Penalty featuring appearances by Dickerson and James. A&M was the second most publicized cheater during the period. Anybody remember the classic Ch. 8 interview by George Riba of Kevin Murray where they show him a car lease agreement by an Aggie booster and Murray asks to see the agreement grabs it out of Riba's hands and walks off? Show might be about the environment of cheating in Texas in the 1980s.

NFL Network interviews Rivals writer

Ted Gangi of MustangManiacs.com, the SMU's Rivals site, is one of the guests with Paul Burmeister on College Football Now. Gangi discusses SMU's coaching situation, along with the Rivals writer from Texas A&M.

It's one of the few times that SMU and NFL are ever mentioned in the same sentence these days. Embrace it!
