Viewed as a star on the rise as a USC assistant coach, obviously has a great rep in Texas from his days with the Cowboys ... any chance?

Actually, I bet Norton could be very good. Charisma, young, energetic, reportedly a terrific recruiter, knows a thing or two about tightening up a defense (specifically linebackers), and with a good staff .... who knows?

Not a candidate, I'm sure, but I bet he'd be OK.
