What a great story this would be.
1st black player in SWC to get a scholarship-
1st black football coach hired by SMU
But as many on this board in the know have said, he won't be the choice.

Yeah, it sounds really great until he starts off with two consecutive losing seasons, get fired and loses any hope of becoming a head coach again anytime soon.
This isn't the job for him at this stage of his career. He doesn't have enough proven success as a head coach for this job right now.
Coming close to having a winning season at Buffalo isn't what we need considering our circumstance.

Maybe Orsini has a bigger coach that is African American. Read the Bio. on Dungy. Irsay went to school with CJ. at SMU.
