The process: SMU was one of the first schools to make a coaching change, firing coach Phil Bennett on Oct. 28 with four games left in the season. The Mustangs really wanted Navy's Paul Johnson, who turned them down for less money at Georgia Tech. SMU athletic director Steve Orsini has been very quiet in his search for a replacement ever since. A slew of former college coaches -- Terry Bowden, Glen Mason, Chan Gailey and Larry Coker -- have been mentioned as possible candidates, but nothing has materialized so far.
Grade: Incomplete

I loved incompletes in high school, it meant I hadn't FAILED! And you still have a chance to do your work and make a good grade.

Your father was more lenient than mine. Incompletes were not tolerated at my house.

same here. in my military household, I comes after F. therefore, we didn't see those in my schooling career.

two semesters ago, I had to take an incomplete because the professor missed the exam and it turned into an F after she didn't file the paperwork to register the "I". so i dont mess with those anymore

It was one incomplete, was to sick to take a final, but my point is that SMU has not FAILED (yet) according to that grade.

I thought that an incomplete just meant that you still had time to drop that class.

I would have to speculate that our grade for the Process will be an "F", but there are still some potential B+ coaches available we could possibly hire. Hoping for an overall grade of C+.
