No he did not. He just said what half of you idiots have been saying. Fran is the best fit for the job.

People have decided they like Fran, possible NCAA violations and all, better than no one...

No different than the fans that are pro-Neuheisel. Fran's violation pales in comparison.

Actually she's been on top of her game this week. That article led to the discussion, at least lately, of Fran. Yesterday, her article of Coker led to the recent discussion of him.

I'm just barely leaning towards Frannie, and voted that way.

Can't fault him for bringing New Mexico, and the Froggies back from the
dead :!: The stupid letter was a minor NCAA violation, if that. It was
just an excuse for the Aggy to fire him because UT won the national
championship, and they didn't in the last few years. The big Smelve is a
lot tougher conference than the old SWC, and Aggy doesn't realize that
quite yet. Kinda like we fire our coach every 5 years just as they are
finally making progress to getting over the hump, but suffer a set
back, or don't quite make a goal set by the old (Copeland) AD, or the
current new (Copeland II CANDIDATE/PRINCE) AD :!:

Thing about Frannie is his offense doesn't look like it would fit with the
players we have, and can recruit. Does he adapt to the players, or
force an offense to what he has :?:

I am not sure how Fran's reputation helps rebuild your program. He messed up the job at A&M, he jumped ship at Alabama when the going got tough. I am not sure he has left any program better off than when he got it (he sure didn't help Texas State's future. Yes we had two winning seasons under him but when he left we didn't have a lot to build on and didn't have a winning season again until 2005 and three coaches later). I just don't see him as the person that can rebuild a program and that is what you need.
