With the performance of our football program since 1989......SMU football might be a bigger joke!

Little bit of hyperbole there. There have been lots of jokes in college football.

Fran is neither the biggest nor the most recent.
That guy is such a weasel! He is the biggest joke in college football.
.....................Well, if SMU desides you are right and therefore picks Coker, we will have picked the worst candidate availiable. Coker is a program destroyer instead of a program biulder.....Coker sure is a nice guy though I here and his personality and agents bs might have charmed SMU officials...So did another nice guy a few years back who wasn't a Head Coach either I personally like alot, Phil Bennett....

Your joke is a little redundant.

To call it a joke is a little generous.

re: "That guy is such a weasel! He is the biggest joke in college football"

why?

the guy is a "weasel" because he was offered a promotion and took it?

the guy is a "weasel" because some players when recruited thought
he would be there forever?.....Aweeee.....like that doesn't happen
almost every time a coach leaves his team for another job.

there must be a lot of "weasels" in college coaching

the guy is a "weasel" because he didn't have a goodbye weep session
in person with the Alabama players and instead had a teleconference?

Oh my.....that is just horrible horrible horrible......boo whoooo!

the guy is a weasel because he let big donors in on some behind
the scene info.......oh my.....i bet that never happens.......i mean
you think mega rich donors at Ohio State, Texas, Michigan, USC
know any more inside details than the guy sitting in general
admission end zone seats?

this Fran hate is ridicious

compared to bennett.....Fran is a WOW!

I hope he comes here and leaves after a few years. That would mean he has drastically improved our program and was getting hired off to a better gig. We win. He wins. Where is the downside? I'm all for anything that brings more talent and more wins. He has a history of recruiting and winning.

Practicing divorce law is much more interesting than that. And you just gave some good legal advice to those complaints.

Yes, Fran has had a terrible case of the wanderlust. But, he needs to resurrect his career. Sure, he might leave. Probably will if SMU becomes a big winner. Any other big name that comes here will do exactly the same thing. All we have to do is look around to see this. There just aren't many Jo Pa's or Bobby Bowden's around any more. [By the way, boy does Florida St. have a problem on its hands]. Fran would be a great hire for football reasons.

Fran lost on the road at Miami early in the season. Talk to an aggie and they'll tell you he should have beat the Caines. Ok maybe. Lost to Mizzou and Kansas along with everybody else they played except OK. Lost of OK the Big 12 champion and to TT a game that every year regardless of record or talent could go either way. Ended the season beating TU there biggest rival with a convincing win. I'll take him.
