The saddest thing is that half of the APPLEBOWDEN siamese twins has just died.

RIP.

the saddest thing is that West Virgina, a BCS Bowl team, hired a coach that we did not consider. That West Virginia job fell from the sky, and before Rodriduiez went to Michigan, it was pretty obvious that Bowden was not getting a job this year....we could have gotten him then. I presonally think we could have gotten him in november. Orsini really has painted himself into a corner on this one.

Congratulations to Coach Bowden ! I am sorry we could not see his incrediable potential. I am really glad to see him get a second chance at coaching. You will see him take advantage of this opportunity.

Clearly he was not the best available coach in America.

If you read the responses, it sounds more like it will be Jimbo Fisher than Bowden. They sound as certain as we do as to who is being selected.

Will the "he has not coached in 9 years" crowd please keep your hand raised so we can ridicule you when Bowden leads them to a National title.

If it does turn out to be Bowden, I am willing to admit he is the best coach in America that has a daddy that can call the Governor and beg him to have the school hire his little boy.

You got that right. If we didn't offer him, we blew it.
