ECU sticking it to Boise St.

24-7 in the second quarter. The only TD Boise has scored was on a kickoff return for a TD. Wouldn't this be a big win for C-USA.

Hell yea!

There are some good teams in CUSA, but the bad ones are really bad. Makes the conference look a lot worse than what it is.

Boise seems out of sync. ECU seems bigger, stronger, faster, and more athletic. But that usually doesn't stop Boise....I still really like Chris Peterson.

24-14 and bsu driving now...

CUSA v B.EAST = 0-1
CUSA v SunBelt = 0-1
================
0-2 so far?

I will.

I'd love Peterson and their 2 hot shot Coordinators to come here, but I don't see how they'd recruit here.

Recruiting here has nothing to do with who the coach is. Recruiting for any coach will take 3-5 years, if we win enough games. Don't think a coaches name is the recruiting tool.

Yes bigdaddy. I always enjoy watching Boise play, they get the most out of their 3 star players. This first half performance, has been anomaly for them thus far.

Hell yes! I'd take him in a heartbeat, and I'll even drive to Boise to pick the man up and bring him south for a press conference.

Wow. Please tell me you don't really think that.

If a huge "name" coach came to SMU - Jason Garrett, Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll, Jimmy Johnson, whoever - you don't think HS players would be lining up at the door? You don't think the HS coaches would be urging their players to at least consider SMU? Of course they would.

If not, why does every AD getting ready to hire a coach insist that one of the criteria for the new coach is "proven recruiting success"?

It's not only part of the recruiting equation, it's absolutely vital.

So much for "sticking it" to Boise State. 38-38 with 38 seconds left. Looks like ECU might get the winning field goal, but Boise has made a hell of a comeback to tie this up.
