An article in the St. Petersburg Times reported that SMU is interested in June Jones form Hawaii. the article was taken from the dallas morning news.

Well the media is certainly doing its job of traditional laziness by just scouring the internet/other newspapers and then claiming it as NEWS.

Well at lest there were a couple of word changes in the article, but there wasnt even a link on stpetetimes.com for the article. So yea, very lazy

It's pretty silly...I don't consider it newsworthy unless a candidate has actually interviewed and interested in the job. The media has screwed plenty of stories up already on many coaching searches...

Or there are no games to report on. Maybe if we get rid of the NFL/NBA SMU will be in the news everyday,.
