Notced him on the Texas sidelines last night. Strange that he wasn't good enough for SMU anymore but is good enough to be on UT's staff now.

I do not find him listed on UT's staff. Are you sure he is?

Well, I actually looked at the UT coaching stafff and he is not listed. Does not matter to me. I look at whatever I can find positive for my school and do not try to find something negative about everything that may come up. Granted, it is difficult most of the time, but unless you are Mr. Faucette's dad, I do not see why this matters at all. Supposedly Vic is doing a good job, has good credentials, and and is an Alum. I find those things positive, but if you wish to look at the dark side go right ahead. Maybe you also need to complain that Matthew McConaughy might have been on their sidelines. We need him on ours. After all WE ARE SMU!!

I'll take Chris Jesse and 7 10-win seasons in a row any day.

here's his daughter's bio at UT:
http://www.texassports.com/index.php?s= ... er_id=1135

this is what it says under personal:
"her father was a four-year starter at linebacker for the University of Maryland football team (1983-86), helping the Terrapins to three straight Atlantic Coast Conference championships (1983-85) … he played two seasons with the San Diego Chargers (1987-89) before starting his coaching career, which included a six-year stint at SMU and his current tenure at Texas"

I don't know what the deal was w/him at SMU, but Faucette was about 50x the player Viloria was. Not that it matters within the job requirements of strength coach, but Chuck Faucette was Shawne Merriman at Maryland before Shawne Merriman. Happy to have Vic, though.
