I do not think he had any interest in SMU. He used us to make a statement that he was ready to get back to college coaching.

I think that cuts both ways. I don't think SMU was interested in him either.

I realize I fell off of the turnip truck and it was at night, but please, just to amuse me, explain how phone records could confirm anything. You do realize that he could have called 1) to say no, then 2) to say no again, and then 3) to say quit bothering me. Leave the phone records talk to the Arkansas maniacs.
